UK is an elite and independent institute built around ecosystems of peers & fellows, advanced applied studies and mentorship — rooted and founded in Grand River Mohawk territory under UK principles of Great Peace.
To apply, you must first be enrolled in an approved Harvard certificate program (or have completed one). If you’re unsure what qualifies — or cost is a barrier — UK will place you into the correct prerequisite and support access through our network.

- Peer Cohort (25) — advanced diploma studies on the ground (limited, by selection)
- Virtual Track — available year-round for those not entering the cohort
Harvard prerequisite (required)
UK accepts enrollment or completion in any UK-approved Harvard certificate program as the prerequisite step.

- Other Harvard certificate programs are accepted when approved by UK

How entry works
- Start an approved Harvard certificate program (enrollment qualifies).
- Verify enrollment with UK (or request UK placement/support).
- UK unlocks your application after prerequisite verification.
- Eligible applicants advance into Peer Cohort (25) for on-ground advanced diploma studies.

Peer Cohort (25)
A selective on-ground cohort hosted at UK’s founding KANATA campus (Eagle’s Nest), guided by UK principles of Great Peace and supported by UK circles and partners.

The core online curriculum begins immediately and runs as the shared baseline for all students. It is the required foundation for Peer Cohort (25) consideration and the cleanest way to begin now.
