SPRING 2026 Enrolment
Universatis Kó:wa (UK) will operate a flagship aquaponics clean-technology living laboratory in a commercial greenhouse facility near Brantford to validate and demonstrate modular, closed-loop food production systems that reduce water use and nutrient loss while increasing yield per square foot. The facility will serve as a training and demonstration hub in partnership with local food-security organizations and will support stewardship of heirloom and Indigenous seed varieties to strengthen biodiversity and food sovereignty. ZIMCANNA, the for-profit technology and commercialization arm, will productize the validated modules into deployable, off-grid-capable systems for institutions, growers, governments, and remote communities, offering design-build-installation, training, and service support.
Final negotiations are nearing conclusion. Announcements will be made in early 2026.
